Bestival/Camp Bestival welcomes the award-winning charity Surfers Against Sewage and their team to educate families and ocean lovers about plastic pollution, cleaner seas and the marine environment! They’re a small-but-mighty bunch of conservation enthusiasts who would like to inspire and impassion everyone about the fantastic work that SAS carry out!
With much of the UK public now exposed to the issues regarding plastic pollution, water quality and climate change, it couldn’t be a better time to say hello and get the low-down on the information you need to reduce your plastic footprint and spread the word to reduce single-use plastic.
Come and join them at their stand in the Magic Meadow and learn about the marine environment with their Marine Litter Museum, head to Lulworth and take part in a Beach Clean with tools from their community Beach Clean Box and create Marine Litter Monsters with your finds. You can also get your hands on some trendy #SASmember reusable water bottles and cotton bags and have the opportunity to be silly with a #SASmember photograph for every new supporter!
Check them out and help us to protect beaches, oceans, waves and wildlife and create Plastic-Free Communities!
