The Isle of Wight based singer/songwriter, effortlessly strikes a poetic imbalance between pop and folk. And at just 19, is beautifully skewing her love of literature with her ethereal vocal and delicate guitar style.
Lauran’s latest release and debut EP, features four brand new tracks including the eponymously titled lead single ‘Favourite Shade of Blue’. In Lauran’s own words, it demonstrates the happiness that comes with sadness. It signifies the purity of youth, and how it slowly disappears into the unavoidable (love, loss and all that falls in between).
Lauran is set to release her brand new single ‘Old Head Young Shoulders’ on September 1st and with a previous stream of support from Radio X, Richer Unsigned, Amazing Radio, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing (Radio 1), and with her recent Facebook live stream reaching over 60,000 views, 2017 is looking promising for her remaining releases and performances.
