Dusky is London producers Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell, but then you knew that already, everybody knows Dusky.
Exploding onto the scene in 2011 with a debut album that changed everyone’s preconceptions of what house, techno and everything in between could sound like, the Dusky sound emerged from the shadow of half a decade of dubstep and bass superiority and did what all good music should do, it pushed things forwards. In no uncertain terms Dusky were at the forefront and largely responsible for the resurgence in house and techno that we’re currently all enjoying today and have only built on that in the two years that have passed.
Their seminal single ‘Flo Jam’ united DJs across the dance spectrum, from Skream and Benga to Diplo, Pete Tong to Seth Troxler everyone went positively crazy for the Dusky sound and that’s how it remains. With a ridiculously prolific release rate, every production and remix an improvement on the last, Dusky land at Bestival at the top of their game and ready to write a new chapter in the future of dance music, one you can and will be part of.
