This year we bring you a bigger, better, bolder and bouncier Kid's Area, now positioned next to the new Family Campsite. Plus our pioneering Breastival baby temple returns!
Kid's Area
Building on previous years we have enlisted the help of the Bigtopmania Kidzone Crew to adapt, enliven and upgrade the onsite children's activities and entertainment. They have tons of experience providing activities, performance and family orientated festival ingredients.
Robin Hill Park is brimming with fantastic things for the children but we know that you guys like to have just a little bit more... right on tap... right next to the family camp... right there in the midst of the festie... right there when your kids need it... or when you simply need a break!
Here's a taste of some of the activities on offer:
Get Crafty:
Make yourself Bestival souvenirs with Caz and Jo's Creative Crafts, MoMosaics and Weaveworld and loose yourself in the natural arts of the Enchanted Forest Team.
Dress up and get face painted with the Reasons 2be Cheerful Team and draw cartoons with the Crazy Comic Club. You may get published in The Bestival Bugle!
Get Active and Play:
Not just with Jan's wonderful Blackboard Van but also with Bigtopmania's Hula Hoops, space hoppers, circus skills, strange inflatables, crazy bikes and toys. Try acrobatics with Crowzone. Make music with Cheryl.
Let Us Entertain Them!
Circus and Clown Shows from PeteZa and BigFoot, Puppet shows from the Noisy Oyster Theatre Company. Stories by the legendary John Row plus the Bedtime Story Crew.
Giggle and test your laughs with the Pirate Fairies.
Plus of course... the ubiquitous bouncy castle!

The Toddlers Play Area and the onsite Creche - book in, drop them off and go have fun yourself!
It's worth noting too that Robin Hill Countryside Adventure Park (the Bestival site) is actually a year round children's paradise equipped with a Tree Top Trail, Maze, Rabbit Run Tunnels, Miniature Village (mind your head at the Duck Inn!), Toboggan Run, slides, swings and much much more. Not to mention the ducks in the lakes, the Bird Sanctuary and the Peacocks that roam freely around!
