Travel on the Island & Car Parking
Foot Passengers:
During the festival the island's bus company Southern Vectis will be running special shuttle services and extra late buses on their normal routes to make it as easy as possible for you to get to the Bestival site... and back!
From Ryde: People arriving at Ryde Pier on the Wightlink foot-passenger ferry (from Portsmouth) should proceed to the Bus station and board the Downs Tour direct to the Bestival site.
From Cowes: People arriving at (West) Cowes on the Red Funnel 'Fast Cat' foot-passenger ferry (from Southampton) should take Bus Route 1 to Newport. Change at Newport bus station onto route 8 which will take you directly to the Bestival site.
From East Cowes: Foot passengers on Red Funnel's vehicle ferries (from Southampton) should board the Medina Tour from 1010 then every hour at 10 past until 1810 direct to the Bestival site.
From Yarmouth: Route 7 runs hourly to Newport to meet Wightlink ferries from Lymington. Change in Newport bus station onto route 8 which will take you directly to the Bestival site.
From all other Island locations: People traveling from within the Island can use the services from Newport as above or travel to Sandown and use Route 8 from Sandown High Street, Lake Shops, Lake Morisons, Apse Heath, Winford, Hale Common, Arreton to the Bestival site.

Car Passengers:
From East Cowes ferry: Take second exit at roundabout onto A3021. At next roundabout take the 1st exit onto A3054 (signposted Ryde). Turn right onto A3056 (signposted Sandown). At mini-roundabout bear right onto Briddlesford Road (signposted Sandown). Go straight over next roundabout onto Downend Road (signposted Arreton / Sandown). Turn left after Hare & Hounds Pub (signposted Newchurch). Left into car park.
From Fishbourne ferry: Travel up B3339 (Fishbourne Lane). Turn right onto the A3054 (signposted Newport). At traffic signals turn left onto Station Road (signposted Sandown A3055). At mini-roundabout turn left onto Briddlesford Road (signposted Sandown). Go straight over next roundabout onto Downend Road (signposted Arreton / Sandown). Turn left after Hare & Hounds Pub (signposted Newchurch). Left into car park.
From Yarmouth ferry: Take the A3054 to Newport. At St Mary's roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A3020 (signposted Town Centre). At Coppins Bridge roundabout take the 1st exit onto A3054 (signposted Ryde). At traffic signals turn right onto Staplers Road. Then turn right onto Long Lane. Continue forward onto Longlane Shute. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Downend Road (signposted Arreton, Sandown). Turn left after Hare & Hounds Pub (signposted Newchurch). Left into car park.

Car Parking:
The car park is next to the Bestival site just beyond the Hare & Hounds Pub. Please follow directions. Car Parking Tickets are payable when you arrive. Price TBC.
