On Island: Shuttle Buses
During the festival the island's bus company Southern Vectis will be running special shuttle services and extra late buses on their normal routes to make it as easy as possible for you to get to the Bestival site (and back).
GETTING TO BESTIVAL
Ferry Shuttle Bus Routes:
Ryde Esplanade to Bestival
For people travelling on the Wightlink foot-passenger ferry from Portsmouth and the Hovertravel Hovercraft from Southsea.
Thursday – 10.00 to 23.00 to serve incoming ferries
Friday – 08.00 to 23.00 to serve incoming ferries
Saturday – Between 09.00 and 16.00 please use ‘The Downs Tour’
Cowes (Carvel Lane) to Bestival
For people travelling on the Red Funnel 'High Speed Red Jet' foot-passenger ferry from Southampton.
Thursday – 10.00 to 23.00 to serve incoming ferries
Friday – 08.00 to 23.00 to serve incoming ferries
Saturday – 08.00 to 16.00 to serve incoming ferries
East Cowes to Bestival
For foot passengers on Red Funnel's vehicle ferries from Southampton.
Thursday – 10.00 to 23.00 to serve incoming ferries
Friday – 08.00 to 23.00 to serve incoming ferries
Saturday – 08.00 to 16.00 to serve incoming ferries

Yarmouth to Bestival
Foot passengers on Wightlink’s ferries from Lymington will need to catch the Route 7 bus (every 30 mins) to Newport and change at Newport.
From Island Towns:
Newport – Routes 8 and 10 will be supplemented to provide connections throughout the day on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Sandown & Lake - use Route 8
Bembridge, St Helens, Brading & Sandown - use Route 10
Ryde, Binstead & Wootton - use ‘The Downs Tour’
All other Island Towns - change in Newport onto routes 8, 10 or the Bestival Shuttle.
LEAVING BESTIVAL
Friday – after the last main stage act until 00.30 buses will operate to all Island Towns direct from Bestival
Saturday – after the last main stage act until 00.30 buses will operate to all Island Towns direct from Bestival
Sunday – during the day buses will operate to the ferry ports when demand is sufficient and, after the last main stage act until 23.30, buses will operate to all Island Towns (including Ferry Terminals) direct from Bestival
Monday – between 07.00 and 14.00 buses will operate direct to all Ferry Terminals and Newport Bus Station
SHUTTLE BUS FARES
£3 single journey: single journey from any Island town or ferry to Bestival.
£2 Newport shuttle: single journey between Newport bus station and Bestival.
