Dave Lee A.K.A Joey Negro has been setting dancefloors alight across the globe since the start of the acid house revolution in the late eighties. From his productions under a slew of different monikers, from Raven Maize to Akabu, Doug Willis to The Sunburst Band, to his disco fuelled DJ sets, the man is quite simply a legend of the UK dance scene.
One of the first artists to understand the importance of the link between the producer and the DJ he has continually strived to create dancefloor friendly tunes shot through with the influences of funk and disco, his DJ sets directly influencing the music that he makes and vice versa, using his DJ sets as a sound-bed to perfect his productions.
He also has the experience of working with some of the biggest stars of modern music, producing and remixing the likes of Diana Ross, Thelma Houston, Lionel Ritchie and Mariah Carey as well as having more UK top ten hits under his belt than any other house producer in his own right.
