Sportsday Megaphone has been making waves... snapped up in early 2007 by Rob da Bank’s Sunday Best label, debut single ‘Less and Less’ soon found its way onto ‘I Can Count Vol 2’ and ‘No Pain In Pop' compilations. Packed tents at Bestival 2007 followed, as did shows with Whitey, Metronomy, Late of the Pier, Au Revoire Simone and Nic Nell.
Sportsday Megaphone’s ‘Elaborate Karaoke’ is akin to Metronomy's sense of humour crossed with CSS's party ethic - songs with lyrics and tunes without in equal measure. SDM’s live show has made him a favourite with the best party promoters - this has been the year the underground has embraced Sportsday Megaphone. Currently putting the finishing touches to his debut album for Sunday Best, due for release spring 2008.
