Treating the fact that none of them could actually play their instruments as a creative challenge rather than a hindrance these Brazilian dynamos were born out of the nightclubs of the Sao Paulo underground in 2003. Allegedly their name comes from, of all things, a quote from Beyonce who once declared that she was “tired of being sexy”, translating into Portuguese as Cansei de Ser Sexy or CSS to their friends.
With a canny use of the internet they spread their sound far and wide and via the magic of myspace their songs began to reach a much wider audience.
Fast forward to 2007 and that little underground Brazilian band have gone on to steal the hearts and minds of every indie kid and disco queen from Sao Paulo to Stretham, with a raft of incredibly catchy tunes and a live show so energetic that if you're not careful can actually do you a mischief just by watching it, but don’t let that put you off as Lovefoxxx and the gang take control of the Big Top at Bestival, bringing with them their unrivalled party atmosphere as they bring Friday nights proceedings to a suitably spectacular close.
