Introduction
Bestival 2011 takes place between Thursday 8th and Sunday 11th September 2011 at Robin Hill Countyside Adventure Park near Newport on the lovely Isle of Wight.
The campsites will open at midday on Thursday 8th September.
This Practical Info section of our website is here to provide you, as the title suggests, with useful information about the festival so you can make the most of it - how to get there, when to get there, when to leave, how to book yourself a Tipi, Yurt, Squrt, Cloudhouse, PodPad, BellePad or a ready pitched tent. Plus there's useful information about the campsites, campervan areas and disabled facilities... and much more!

KEY TIMINGS:
Thursday 8th Sept: The car park will be open from 9am. The box office opens at around 11.30am and the campsites will open at midday.
Fri/Sat/Sun: Car park & box office open at 9am.
Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun: No entry into the site after midnight on any night.
Monday 12th September: Campsites close at 2pm and car parks at 4pm.

KEY TRAVEL INFO:
The Isle of Wight is only about 2 hours from London (for example) and really couldn't be easier to get to. There are hundreds of ferry crossings to the Isle of Wight each and every day (& night!) and these ferry routes connect easily with road and rail in Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington.
