Kelis

Since exploding onto the scene with Kaleidescope in 1999 Kelis has sold over 6 million records and confirmed her position as the queen of R&B on numerous occasions.

The release of a new Kelis record is always a reason to get excited, constantly changing, evolving, moving forward as an artist with every release, the only thing that you can guarantee when the lady’s new record drops is that the quality of the music is unquestionable.

This was proved perfectly with the release of last years album Flesh Tone.  Eschewing her R&B roots for the first time, Kelis embraced electronic dance to unbelievable effect, working with the best of the best  in Diplo, Boys Noize, Switch and David Guetta to produce the dance album of the year and perhaps Kelis’ best album to date.

Her appearance at Bestival marks a rare opportunity to catch one of the world’s most exciting talents live so make sure you take it, this promises to be one of the highlights of the weekend without doubt.
