Crystal Castles

Named after She Ra's house and capable of shredding your senses with their brand of scintillating keyboard thrashing electro punk, Crystal Castles certainly arrived on the scene at the right time.

The Toronto boy/girl duo specialise in gloriously carefree musical explorations, using little more than a keyboard, bass guitar and a chip procured from an old Atari computer, the result is quite frankly astonishing, in a very, very good way, you understand.
 
Their self titled debut album flew off the shelves and everything that they’ve produced since is never anything less that a proposition that requires your serious attention, no more so than their second, also (slightly confusingly) self titled long player that expanded their sound and saw them sell out venues across the land in its promotion.
