Bestival's All Gone Pete Tong featuring Pete Tong and Special Guests

There can be no faster moving musical world than dance music, where fashions and genres come and go on an almost weekly basis, one name however has managed to be a constant in this ever changing universe for well over 20 years, that name is of course Pete Tong, the godfather of British house music.

His career in music has stretched over three decades and has seen him excel as a journalist, A&R man, label boss, producer, club promoter, superstar DJ and of course as the voice that has for the last twenty years signalled the start of the nations weekend.  His Friday night Radio 1 show has soundtracked the start of the party since 1991 making Pete ground zero for clubbers up and down the country, helping us decide where to go and what to listen to, while his Essential Mix series on the station has played host to every legendary and up and coming DJ worth their salt on the planet.

Where Bestival is concerned though it’s his talents behind the decks that we’re most interested in, which is why we’ve invited the great man along to play host along with some of his most talented friends for what promises to be a night that will go down in Bestival history.
